It uses the original FT232RL USB-to-serial interface for stable and compatible data communication, making it suitable for industrial automation, monitoring and embedded applications. 2 km at low data rates.

It features automatic RS485 direction control, A+, B− and GND screw terminals, status LEDs and multiple protection circuits including TVS, surge, ESD and over-current protection. Features Original FT232RL: Uses the original FT232RL USB-to-serial interface for stable and reliable USB communication. Bidirectional Communication: Supports two-way data transmission between a USB host and RS485 devices.

Wide Baud Rate: Supports communication speeds from 300 bps to 921600 bps for different serial communication requirements.
