SmartElex Industrial USB to RS485 Bidirectional Converter The SmartElex Industrial USB to RS485 Bidirectional Converter provides a reliable connection between a computer or USB host and RS485 devices. It uses the CH343G USB-to-serial converter and supports automatic bidirectional data transmission, making it suitable for industrial communication, automation, monitoring and embedded applications.

It includes A+, B− and GND screw terminals, automatic direction control, three status LEDs and multiple protection circuits including TVS, ESD, surge and resettable-fuse protection. Features CH343G USB Converter: Uses the original CH343G USB-to-serial conversion chip for fast and stable USB to RS485 communication.

Bidirectional Communication: Supports two-way data transmission between a USB host and RS485 devices. High-Speed Communication: Supports communication rates from 300 bps up to 3 Mbps for flexible serial communication applications. 2 km at low communication rates. Automatic Direction Control: Automatically manages RS485 transmit and receive direction for convenient operation without manual switching.

USB-A Interface: Uses a standard USB-A connector for easy connection to computers and other USB host devices.
