Who we are
Botroniq is operated by Botroniq ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal data when you browse the store, create an account or place an order.
What we collect
- Account details: your name, email address, phone number and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Google sign-in: if you choose Continue with Google, Google shares your name, email address and Google account ID with us so we can create your account or sign you in. We do not receive your Google password.
- Order details: delivery and billing addresses, company name and GSTIN if you provide them, the items you order and your order history.
- Payment details: online payments are processed by our payment partner, Razorpay. We receive the payment status and reference number; we do not receive or store your full card, UPI or bank login details.
- Messages: support tickets, return requests, reviews and enquiries you send us.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and pages visited, used to keep the store secure and working.
How we use it
- To process, deliver and support your orders, including sending order and shipping emails.
- To issue GST invoices and keep the records the law requires.
- To answer your questions, returns and support requests.
- To protect the store against fraud and misuse.
- To send product updates or offers only if you subscribe; every such email has an unsubscribe option.
Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart.
We also use Google Analytics, a service of Google, to understand how the store is used: which pages are visited, how visitors find us, which products are viewed or added to the cart and which orders are completed. Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address, device and browser details and the pages you visit. We do not send your name, email address, phone number or delivery address to Google Analytics, and its reports reach us in aggregate. If we advertise with Google Ads, Google also uses these cookies to tell us which ads led to an order.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's opt-out add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. How Google uses this data is explained at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with courier partners (to deliver your order), our payment partner (to process payments), our email provider (to send order emails), Google (for the analytics and sign-in described above) and authorities when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Indian tax law requires, even if you delete your account. Other data is kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed.
Your choices
You can view and update your profile and addresses from your account, and you can delete your account from the account page. Deleting your account removes your personal details from it; orders already placed are kept for tax records.
Security
We use HTTPS, hashed passwords and limited staff access to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
