The A01NYUB Waterproof Ultrasonic Sensor is a very useful device for finding out how far away something is, and it’s built tough for outdoor or wet places. 5 meters! Because it's fully sealed (that's what IP67 means), you don't need to worry about rain, splashes, or dust getting inside and spoiling it.

This sensor is designed to be a dependable Long Range IP67 Sensor that can still give good readings even if the air is a bit smoky or dusty. Connecting this 750cm Ultrasonic Sensor to your project is easy because it talks using a standard UART serial connection, which is something most popular microcontrollers like Arduino or Raspberry Pi can understand without any fuss.

The UART Ultrasonic Distance Sensor works by sending out a sound pulse (that humans can't hear) and then listens for the echo to come back, calculating the distance accurately.
