The 1k Ohm resistor is a practical fixed resistor for everyday electronics, breadboard prototyping, Arduino projects, DIY circuits and student experiments. 001 - Now, we will take the values of the first two or three bands from the left, depending on the total number of bands, then we will multiply that value by the multiplier to get the resistance value of the resistor. Note: Always read resistors from the left side to the right side. T he first band is always closest to the lead and Gold-silver bands are always located at the last.
