The SmartElex RLS-06 Analog & Digital 6 IR Line Sensor Array with Potentiometer is a highly reliable solution for building line-following robots and reflective surface detection systems. Featuring six pairs of IR LEDs and phototransistors, this IR sensor array delivers both analog and digital sensor outputs for flexible performance.
Each sensor’s sensitivity can be fine-tuned using the onboard potentiometer, ensuring accurate readings under varying surface conditions. Built around the TCRT5000 reflectance sensor, it offers stable detection of dark and light lines or nearby objects. 3V. Compact, efficient, and precise — the SmartElex RLS-06 is ideal for robotics, automation, and DIY electronics applications.
Schematic Diagram: Features: Potentiometer for adjusting the sensitivity of individual sensors. The module serves as a suitable carrier for six evenly spaced pairs of IR emitter and receiver. Uses six sensors for the finest resolution. Very useful in developing rapid line following and grid traversing robots. Comes with simple digital outputs that may be connected directly to microcontrollers.
The array contains mounting holes of 3mm diameter for convenient installation.
