Description
The SmartElex 8V to 35V A4988 Stepper Motor Driver Module is a high-performance Stepper Motor Driver Module built for accurate and efficient motor control. Operating within an exact voltage range of 8V to 35V, it can supply up to 2A per coil when adequate cooling is provided.
This microstepping stepper motor driver features internal synchronous rectification, mixed decay current control, and thermal shutdown protection, ensuring smooth motion, reduced motor noise, and reliable operation.
With its built-in current converter, the A4988 minimizes processing load on microcontrollers, making it an excellent choice for applications like 3D printers, CNC machines, robotics, and other precision motion control systems. Features: Automatic detection and selection of the current decay mode. Mixed with the slow current decay mode. The low power dissipation of synchronous rectifiers.
Internal UVLO (ultra-voltage lockout). Crossover current protection. Thermal shut-down circuit. Ground-fault protection. Load and short circuit protection. The optional five-step mode includes full, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, and 1/16.
