The Cytron MDS160A 160Amp 8V–28V DC Motor Driver is a high-power, smart motor controller built for demanding applications such as AGVs, combat robots, industrial conveyors, heavy-duty mobile robots, and high-torque motion systems.
With its massive 160A continuous output, support for 8V–28V motors, and silent 16 kHz MOSFET switching, this motor driver ensures smooth, efficient, and reliable operation under extreme loads. It is designed for makers, engineers, and industrial projects that require a Botroniqst DC motor controller capable of delivering serious power.
Powered by smart onboard firmware, the Cytron MDS160A offers multiple input modes, including RC, PWM+DIR, Analog, and UART, making it highly flexible for different control setups. It provides intelligent safety features such as thermal protection, regenerative braking, and temperature-based current limiting. You can also pair two MDS160A units for plug-and-play differential-drive robotics.
Whether you're creating a powerful robot or building custom industrial automation, the Cytron MDS160A delivers the strength, stability, and smart control needed for high-performance motor applications. Features: Bi-directional control for a single brushed DC motor. Supports 8V–28V input voltage, suitable for various high-power applications. 16 kHz PWM switching frequency ensures silent, smooth motor control. Full MOSFET-based solid-state design - no flyback diodes required. Includes regenerative braking for improved efficiency. Built-in thermal protection and temperature-based current limiting. Multiple operating modes: RC, Analog, PWM+DIR, UART (Serial). Onboard test buttons for quick motor testing without a controller.
Can pair with another MDS160A for differential-drive robot applications.
