The 7Semi MCP3421 18-Bit Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC) is a high-precision solution for applications that require accurate analog signal measurement, especially weighing scales and weight measurement systems. With 18-bit resolution and differential inputs, it can capture small changes in sensor signals with good accuracy.

048V voltage reference provides a stable reference for consistent measurements, while the programmable gain amplifier offers selectable gains of 1, 2, 4, or 8 to suit different input signal levels. The ADC communicates through the I²C interface, making it convenient to connect with microcontrollers and development boards.

75 to 240 samples per second, the MCP3421 is well suited for digital weighing scales, precision sensor interfaces, load cell measurement, and other high-accuracy data acquisition applications.
