The 41F is a switched Hall-effect IC designed for contactless switching applications. It incorporates various components on a single chip, including an on-chip Hall voltage generator for magnetic sensing, an amplifier to amplify the Hall voltage, a Schmitt trigger to provide switching hysteresis for noise rejection, and an open-collector output.
